This one-time course will explain what cancer is, what's a tumor and what benign and malignant means.
Class Experience
This is a one-time course where I will be teaching students using a slide presentation about what cancer is. For this class students will receive a presentation using slides with a step by step explanation. The students will follow along listening and also asking their questions and concerns. Although this class will be mostly taught by myself, students are welcome to ask questions and share their thoughts. I'm a medical doctor with 9 years of experience seeing patients and teaching students. During my medical training i spent 8 months working with Oncologists and cancer patients.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The information will be from the books Kumar & Clark Clinical medicine, Guyton and Hall Textbook of Medical Physiology, and First Aid.
