Description

Class Experience

Learners will create an ongoing list of books to read. They will be able to give an informal review of a book they have read. They will be able to discuss books and reading in general with a group of peers.
There is no assigned reading. However, students will need to have an idea of what to share about a book they have recently read.
Students will want to have something to write on to create their "To-Read List." Something as simple as a piece of paper and pen will work. During the course, we will discuss creating a reader's notebook or other reading log.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This course is assessed informally through discussion and reviews of books.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
