US Grade 1 - 3
The learner will practice reading skills while learning about all of the ways that animals sleep. We will attend class in our pajamas to connect our prior knowledge and compare and contrast how we sleep with how the animals sleep. The class is relaxed and students will practice reading long e words, using prepositions, and identifying and using synonyms. During class time, the learning will practice the language arts skills with games and activities. After skills are practiced, the learners will take turns reading the story in class. Learners will complete a fun comprehension game to end the class. The reader is about a 2nd grade reading level and perfect for early readers!
