By the end of class, students will be able to identify parts of a plant and their purpose, as well as describe how to care for indoor plants.
Prior to class, students will be invited to bring any houseplants they already own to share during class time. Students will not be assigned homework. However, depending on the amount of discussion and number of participants, students may not finish their writing or picture by the end of the class.
Students will need one piece of white or lined paper, as well as a pencil and any coloring utensils they made desire.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be given the opportunity to share what they have learned, but will not be formally assessed.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
