This course is designed to be a supplement or overview to help middle school students understand the basic events and topics of the Cold War Era. This lesson will focus primarily on the "hot wars", or conflicts, of the Cold War Era. This will include the building of the Berlin Wall, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. I will facilitate the classes with Google Slides and occasional videos over a 40-50 minute period with the last 10 minutes of class to be dedicated to discussion questions asked by the students.
Learning Goals
Students will understand how international developments affected the world politically, economically, and socially during the Cold War Era.

Parental Guidance
This lesson will cover content related to wars of the Cold War era, but no photos or videos graphic in nature will be shown in class.
