Learning Goals
This class is a social based class that learners can have conversations and discussions all about horses! Each week is a different topic.
I would also LOVE to hear from learners about additional topic and theme ideas for the future. As this is a class for you, the learner, I want to direct the class to be what you need. This teacher really likes hearing from learners and molding the class to be as much fun as possible. Learning should be fun.

Teacher expertise and credentials
As a lifetime horse owner, horse enthusiast and trainer, I love helping others grow and learn about horses. Horses have been both one of my greatest teachers as well as students. I have learned so many things from them and with them.
As a home school parent, teaching about things makes connections and learning. For example, learning about a specific horse breed can lead to researching where they came from (Geography and History) or how a color pattern is form (Genetics) and much more.
As a Social Worker, (Social work degree from University of Wisconsin, River Falls) I also have experiences with numerous people groups. I attempt to meet a learner where they're at and cheer them on in their successes. I have experience with learners with various special needs and enjoy watching them attain their personal goals.
