Class Experience
Horse Lovers Hang Out (9-12 years) is for anyone who loves to talk about horses, meet other “horsie friends” from all around and to learn as we go! In this ongoing “hang out”, the facilitator will have kids will share about their horse activities, favorite horse topics and lead the discussion or answer any questions on the topics chosen by the group. We are offering this ongoing hang out because we believe in the importance of fostering a community of “horsie kids” from around the world. We enjoy teaching our equine science courses, but also appreciate the benefits of allowing kids to have a place to share and to learn from each other. This ongoing class will allow kids to share, and chat with each other, as the teacher helps to answer any questions or to keep the conversation flowing. IMPORTANT: Ongoing classes on Outschool are billed weekly, like a subscription, but parents may withdraw at any time. If your child misses any hang outs, NO WORRIES! Each class will be recorded and they can catch up with their horsie friends activities that way! EXCITED to talk about horses!!
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
25 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
This is a student lead discussion each week, but as facilitator, I will do my best to keep it flowing well and on appropriate topics.
