The hoof of the horses needs special care. A lot rides on the horses hoof such as being able to walk, run, and jump. In this class we will look at the hoof anatomy and the hoof angles. The students will learn how to take care of the horse's hooves and how to keep them healthy. We will also look at how wild horses take care of their hooves. The students will discuss barefoot trimming and shoeing. We will look at the arguments on both sides of the barefoot trimming and shoeing...
I will provide articles and images needed to study before class.
