The class will teach horse loving learners about how horse's use their body to communicate.
Class Experience
Although horses have a vocal language, their main form of communication with us and each other is through body language. We will be looking into how horses use their ears, mouth, feet and tails to convey simple emotions. Students will view short video clips and photos of different horse expressions and then discuss what is going on in those examples. We will look at how horses express things such as impatience/nervousness, frustration/anger, alert (where their attention is focused) and...
- Students will understand the basic horse expressions and what they mean. They will be able to identify and differentiate between them.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
