Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 3
Sometimes homophones confuse students in speech and in their writing. In this class, we will discuss the definition of what a homophone is and then look at a variety of words. The students will then get a chance to practice placing the correct homophone in text. Then, the learner will get to use the words in sentences. If they are comfortable with writing a sentence, they can write them. If their writing skill is still emerging, they can orally tell me their verbal sentence. I teach in a relaxed manner. Please bring a pencil and paper to class if they are able to write a full sentence. This class is most beneficial if your learner is willing to be interaction. Class Rules: We mute so we do not talk over each other, we are kind and respectful to everyone, and we raise our hand if we have a question or comment.
