During this hour class your student will work on problem solving and observation skills to help the team escape. Each class provides a different escape scenario and exciting challenge!

Beginner Level
In this class the students will be guided through playing Hooda Math Escape games. The students will learn observational problem solving skills to "escape" the game.
I will teach by sharing my game screen as the group works together on topics like observing patterns, solving math problems, and using critical thinking skills.
We will discuss the problem together and walk through each step of the problem. Students will be encouraged to answer observational questions along the way.
The class will provide a positive and interactive environment for students to collaborate and work towards a common goal. Each week we will be presented with a new scenario/game and new set of problems.
Students can choose from one of 3 days and times to attend class. Different class times allows for flexible schedules. The theme for the week will be set and done in each class.

Students will work on observation skills by looking for small differences or patterns.
Students will also have a chance to work on math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. (These skills are not needs as the teacher will guide and help with harder level problems. )
