In this one-time class, students will learn about penguins, including information about habitat, diet, and anatomy. They will also look at five specific species of penguins.
Class experience
The word "penguin" might bring to mind Happy Feet or an awkward, fat bird sliding on ice, but did you know that penguins live natively on four continents and in all kinds of environments? In this class students will learn the basics of penguins, including where they live, what they eat, how they adapt to their environment, and other interesting facts. Students will learn about several specific penguins species, including: 1) Emperor Penguin 2) Adélie Penguin 3) Macaroni Penguin 4)...
Students will learn general facts about penguins, including habitat, diet, anatomy, and other unique characteristics. Students will learn about specific species of penguins and how they differ.
I will provide an optional handout for note-taking.
