Description
Class Experience
Students will engage in a fun a lively discussion while viewing funny images and videos sparking an interest in homophones. Following this viewing time, students will engage in several opportunities to view homophone mistakes and correct them. Finally, students will choose the correct homophone usages in a playful setting.
Students will define many homophones. Students will remedy incorrect homophone usage. Students will correctly use homophones in writing and in conversation.
A PDF will be provided for class. Depending on the pace of class, this may used as additional practice should we not have time to cover it in class. No formal homework is given.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed by the teacher through observation. Feedback will be written and sent to parents after class concludes which will include achieved goals and suggested next steps.
