In this class, we will learn how to comprehend texts for important information as well as the beginning skills needed for reading and writing. My teaching style encourages learners to be active participants in their learning by using the info they already have to build upon what we're uncovering in class. Children will have the opportunity to engage with me by giving their thoughts, answering questions, and participating in games during the class. I'm so happy to have you here :) Preview of Topics: Week of Jan. 27th - Letter, shape, and color recognition Week of Feb 3rd - Begining letter formation practice: circles, lines, and some letters Week of Feb 10th - Letter formation continued, vowel recognition and practice Week Feb 17th - Putting sounds together to read simple words

I belive that children are extremely capable and that they already have so much knowledge within them.
