I started a successful nature based microschool in 2016 that promoted wonder based learning, hands on play, and high interest activities. Our proven curriculum has influences from Montessori, Reggio, Waldorf and other self directed educational philosophies. It has been published and used with high reviews from parents, schools, and co-ops.
Homework Offered
All students in this course will gain access to an online learning program - Mathseeds and Reading Eggs as well as optional learning activities to complete daily at home. Homework is optional, but it is suggested students complete an additional 20 minutes daily of out of class assignments.Assessments Offered

Clay or Playdough White Glue Glue sticks Markers Tempera Paint A tray Cardstock Paper Dry Erase Board Dry Erase Marker Crayons Craft Materials Nature treasures like rocks, sticks, leaves to be collected A printer is not necessary for this course and all materials can usually be supplemented so please do not worry if you don't have access to something on this list. Just let us know and we will be happy to suggest alternatives.

Mathseeds is an online learning program that is optional for use for this course. Students get a free account with this course after a week of sign up. This is completely optional and up to the parent if they choose to use it at home.
