Description

Class Experience

Learners will participate in discussions, share successes and struggles all related to homeschooling in a relaxed environment designed to forge new friendships with other homeschoolers around the world.  Class will be discussion-based, with students spending a large amount of time talking together with direction and encouragment from the teacher.  We may incorporate fun games to help deepen the conversation and provide starting points for discussion as our school year progresses.  I will...

Learners will enjoy social time interacting with other homeschoolers or distance learners in a friendly setting designed to forge new friendships in an ongoing setting.  This class will be largely learner-directed as we discuss current happenings in our homeschool lives.

I have been a homeschool educator and homeschool group facilitator for 16 years, and have a Master's Degree in Elementary Administration.

None but students may bring any homeschool-related items that they wish to discuss and share about.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Learner is assessed through observation of conversational skills and class participation.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
