I have been a teacher for a decade and, throughout that time have had the privilege of working with countless students who are either on the autism spectrum or otherwise neurodiverse. 

I have taken many classes specifically tailored towards ensuring my classroom is an inclusive environment for neurodiverse students. 

Focusing on:
- encouraging creativity 
- transition to the workforce
- challenging stigmas 
- seeing neurodiversity as a strategic advantage 
- utilizing art & music to encourage socialization 

I will maintain contact with parents from the first class, and keep parents updated on how their child is doing, areas that could be improved upon and collaborate on ways to make this experience as successful as possible 

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
