Hi Outschool. This class is a 20 week class where students get to create, manage, and operate their own NFL fantasy football team. We will have a live draft where students select their team, and then meet weekly to discuss the upcoming fantasy week, waiver wire pickups, who to add and drop, should you trade a player, player injuries, and NFL related topics. Because the NFL is always changing, students will learn how to adapt to those changes each week. Even though the class will meet once...
Learners will build social skills, problem solving skills, learn to adapt to changes, learn a new game, and most importantly have fun.
I work part time in the fantasy football industry as a fantasy football writer for www.5thdownfantasy.com. I am also a football coach in Houston, Texas. Therefore I am very knowledgeable about the game. I participate in fantasy leagues of my own each year as well, so I am truly passionate about all things fantasy football.
Learners will have homework weekly. They will have to make adjustments to their team lineups, make trades, add or drop players, and be a game manager.

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents, your learners will need to download an app called "sleeper", or access the website at www.sleeper.app. It is a fantasy football app that we will use in order to host a private fantasy football league with their outschool peers. They do have public leagues on the app that anyone can join, so just be aware that it is a publicly used app. I encourage parents to monitor their learners use of any public app. Our class sessions will only be hosted privately with the other learners. 1. Download the "Sleeper" app from your app store, or access the website at www.sleeper.app. 2. Register on the app using your email. The app is free to use. 3.
