In this 8 lesson course we will build on our knowledge of the Elements and Principles of Art! I will be demonstrating the projects and techniques in a series of step-by-step videos & slideshows posted. Students will explore a variety of media. Lesson 1: Monoprint Fish Project- In this project students will create a fish drawing. Students will then layer color onto tinfoil to create a monoprinted background for their drawing. Week 1Lesson 1MonoPrintingIn this lesson we will create a fish design and mono print a colored background.Week 2Lesson 2Geometric RobotsIn this lesson we will build on our knowledge of shape and create geometric robots!Week 3Lesson 3Sunflower Pastel DrawingIn this lesson we will be inspired by the work of Vincent VanGogh and create sunflowers in oil pastel.Week 4Lesson 4Ocean Value PaintingIn this lesson we will create an underwater scene. Students will learn to mix values of blue and create undersea silhouettes.Week 5Lesson 5Clay Owl-Part 1In this lesson students will create a textured owl out of clay.Week 6Lesson 6Clay Owl-Part 2In this lesson students will complete their own in a media of their choice. Examples will be shown.Week 7Lesson 7Foil Relief-Part 1In this lesson students will draw their design and create a relief design in foil.Week 8Lesson 8Foil Relief-Part 2In this lesson students will color and create patterns on their relief design.
Students will create art pieces expanding their knowledge of the Elements & Principles of Art.
