Welcome to the Homeschool Social Co-op! In this homeschool social co-op, kids meet twice a week and do various activities together to work on their social skills, make new friends, and make homeschooling more fun! Activities and conversations each week will be learner-directed. Kids can use this time together in a variety of different ways. Many kids in the classes like to draw, play Roblox or Minecraft, or just hang out and talk. During class time, we start by seeing what everyone brought for the day, then split up into breakout rooms so kids get the chance to play and hang out together. ______________________________________ ==================================== _____________________________________ Fun things for kids to do in the Homeschool Co-Op: Schoolwork: Kids can have a study hall or show off something cool they have done recently in their homeschool program. Feel free to bring cocoa and make it a cocoa and cram session! Virtual Play Day: Kids can bring toys, books, video games, or art supplies to show off to their friends and play together in breakout rooms. Lunch and Snacks: This class is often hosted around lunchtime! Many of the kids like to bring lunch, hang out, and talk to others like a "School Lunch." ____________________________________ ================================== ____________________________________ If we have enough students in the class, we will have breakout rooms each day we meet! This class aims to provide a social and fun experience for your homeschooling routine. It is a great way for kids to get to know one another and make friends but are too busy to meet more than twice a week! If you would like a class with more than one meeting a week, join one of my homeschool co-ops that meet 3x a week!
Learning Goals
Activities and conversations each week will be learner-directed. The goal is for students to get to talk to each other and socialize. Many students are able to make friends in this homeschool co-op!

Make sure that you are comfortable with your child seeing video games, and talking about movies before enrolling them in the class.

Hello! I'm Briann. Welcome to my classroom page! I hope you find something here you like. I started my journey Outschool teaching social classes. But if you look at my class listing offerings, you'll notice that I have expanded from that. I now offer three different types of classes.
Live Group Classes:
All of my live group classes are social classes. Each class offers breakout rooms so kids can get into small groups and build an online community of friends their own age. These classes are offered in the afternoons and work great as a recess break for homeschoolers or kids who just want extra time to talk and hang out in the summer. You can check out the various class themes below.
Self-Paced Classes:
The second type of classes I offer are self-paced extracurricular or problem-solving classes. You can find these in the self-paced tab below. These are niche classes that address particular topics, like how drugs and alcohol affect your brain or how to do long division. So, if your learner wants to know about something specific or is struggling with a particular concept of math, then take a look at these classes.
Groups
I offer several interesting groups that kids can sign up for. The groups are a mix of social and educational experiences and are paid for via monthly subscription. Groups don't have live meetings; instead, they are like private Reddit pages for kids! Kids can make posts, talk with others in the group via post chats, and even upload photos and videos. My most popular group so far has been my minecraft Java group that gives your learner access to the group board and a private Java server to build and explore.
