Students will undergo assessment via mini projects and weekly homework tasks. Furthermore, they will engage in assessments through interactive games such as Nearpods, Kahoots and Blookets.Grading
At the conclusion of each marking period, students and parents will receive a detailed report card containing one grade per marking period along with a final average, accompanied by personalized comments. Intermittent progress reports will be available upon request.Class Experience

Beginner - Advanced Level
Step right into our homeschool Algebra 1 adventure! Join our certified teacher on a year-long journey, where learners not only study with consistency but also bond with fellow peers through project-based learning! Experience live classes twice a week, every week, with opportunities for one-on-one assistance from Miss Sarah before or after each session. Every class comes with a homework assignment due at the start of our next meeting. Homework completion is key to mastering each lesson in Algebra 1, as concepts build upon each other. Spend the first 5 minutes of class reviewing assignments together, and feel free to message Miss Sarah for revisions and corrections anytime! During each class, we'll make use of breakout rooms to keep things interactive! Students will receive whole-group instructions on a new skill and then dive into small activities within their breakout rooms. Miss Sarah will keep a close eye on all rooms, rotating between them, and will also be accessible in the main session for one-on-one assistance. Students are welcome to invite Miss Sarah into their breakout rooms at any time for additional help with any challenges they encounter. Daily Schedule: - Homework review: approximately 5 minutes - New lesson in whole group instruction: approximately 15 minutes - Small group activity in breakout rooms: approximately 10 minutes - Large group review in main session: approximately 10 minute - The last 5 minutes will be left for questions and homework explanation Unit 4: Quadratic Equations (Weeks 1-3) Unit 5: Two Variable Expressions and Equations (Weeks 4-6) Week 7: Review Project
