Class Experience

Welcome to our fun and engaging online homeroom class, specially designed for children aged 6-8! This class meets four days a week for 25 minutes each session. Our focus is on developing essential social skills, executive functioning skills, and providing a nurturing environment for weekly check-ins. Each session is interactive, playful, and designed to support your child's growth and development in a warm, supportive setting.

On Mondays, we will start the week with calming and fun exercises. Light stretching and simple yoga poses help children develop body awareness, balance, and flexibility while promoting relaxation and mindfulness.

On Tuesdays, we will explore important life skills tailored for young children. Activities might include simple cooking projects, understanding basic hygiene, and learning to follow routines. These sessions help foster independence and practical skills.

Our focus will be on how to build and strengthen social connections through interactive activities and role-playing on Wednesdays. Children will learn about sharing, empathy, cooperation, and effective communication, all vital for forming strong friendships.

The last day each week is all about reflecting and addressing the interests and needs of the children. We will have a group check-in, allowing each child to share their thoughts and feelings. Additionally, we'll explore topics like arts and crafts, journaling, scheduling, and keeping organized, as requested by the students and families.
