During "Homemade Fingerprint Valentine's Day Card Crafting", students will enjoy an interactive crafting session, in which our final product will be 3 different handmade Valentine's Day cards, featuring inked fingerprints. Students will be provided with the opportunity to interact with the teacher and students via direct instruction of our card making craft throughout the duration of the class. Class time will be structured in the following way: 1) greetings & introductions 2) direct step-by-step instruction of inked fingerprints & details to create images on three different Valentine's Day cards 3) addition of special messages on both the outside & inside of cards 4) reflections & celebrations! Skills taught will include making inked fingerprints, adding details to images and writing special messages on & in a card. No prior crafting experience is required.

If students need technological or crafting assistance during class, please provide as necessary.
Supply List
Required supplies: -3 blank cards (any size paper, folded in half; cardstock recommended for its sturdiness) -choice of 3 different ink pads, light colors recommended (I will be using orange, green & red) -wet paper towel or rag for wiping ink from fingers -writing instrument (for exterior and interior messages)
