Description

Class Experience

What a great way to measure out the ingredients and turn into a crunchy and buttery yummy treat year round. You will need a candy thermometer that reads up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. You will learn how to read a candy thermometer for your perfect candy crunch.
I have cooked and baked for over 40 years and enjoy passing the joy of sweets, to all that want to learn. 
Will need to have their ingredients ready to start class. 
Once registered please refer to classroom tab for exact measurements for ingredients. Butter Sugar Corn syrup Nuts (optional) Hershey milk chocolate Medium to large saucepan Candy Thermometer that reads up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit Large cooking spoon Measuring cups Measuring spoons Cooking spray 9”x13” or 9”x9” pan
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Younger learners may need help with turning  on stove and pouring hot syrup candy into sheet mold.
