Teacher expertise and credentials
I teach theater, theater literature, and English Language Arts. I have a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from Pace University (NYC), and an Associates degree in the field of Paralegal from Henry Ford College (Dearborn, MI). I am also proficient and trained in other life skills: typing, legal briefs, and formal letters. I have worked in the public schools system as a teachers assistant and found it to be extremely rewarding.
My passion is acting! I started modeling when I was in Junior High, and quickly became interested in acting. Once I was in High School I was involved in all theater productions, and continued through College. I lived and pursued an acting career for eight years in New York, and continued once I was back in Michigan. I acted locally until the birth of my child, and continue to do short-term projects.
I have self published two books, Considerations of Life: poems and expressions; and an e-book titled Listening Between the Lines. Besides being a self-published author I am an entrepreneur having started my own mindset coaching company called Empowered Network Group, LLC. My coaching style comes from my theater background. I use those techniques to help others focus on their true hearts desire, and how to rid their minds of negative self talk, and negative thoughts.
What I realized throughout all my years is that I never said I wanted to win an Academy or a Tony. I always said I wanted to help others with my experiences as an actor. Remember your words and your thoughts are extremely important, so keep them focused on positive outcomes.
