Description
Class Experience
I am a certified middle school and high school Career & Technical Education teacher in the southeastern United States. I am certified to teach classes in Entrepreneurship, Food and Nutrition, Interior Design, and Career Management and Workplace Readiness (communication, attitude, social skills, interpersonal skills, etc.). I currently teach high school (grades 9-12), but I am certified to teach these same classes for grades 6-8 as well. I am also a business owner and entrepreneur myself in that I own a dance fitness business and I have recently owned a brick-and-mortar boutique within the past few years.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Safety and privacy are our my top priorities. Students are recommended to have proper space, proper footwear, comfortable clothes, and a water bottle in a class of this nature that involves physical activity. Students should participate warm-up and stretch before taking this class. Parents are encouraged to supervise students to ensure that students are following recommendations in order to avoid injuries. Prior to the first class, parents should let teacher know if there are any physical and/or health limitations that the student may have. All recommendations above have been provided to help students prepare for this class as well as to minimize the risk of injury or health complications from participating in this class. Additionally, parents should be aware of any possible allergies that the learners may have to ingredients used in this course. Students will also be using chemicals in this course, so please only allow learners to use chemicals that are safe for them to use. Please also monitor students when organizing and cleaning to make sure that they are fully aware of things that can be discarded. Please make sure students are fully aware of things that they can discard or things that should be kept.
