Staying home alone is a big milestone for any child and parent! Whether it's for a few minutes- or more! If you and your child are ready to make that transition, be prepared. In this one time class, we will discuss safety tips to help your child be prepared and not scared! This is a discussion based class. The students will be provided with worksheets. The students will be able to confidently know what to do when they are old enough to stay home alone.
I am a certified K-6 teacher. I also homeschool my children at home, and my daughter is just entering the age where she will be able to stay home. I am also CPR and first aid certified.
There will be worksheets posted in the classroom that the student should print before class.
The students will be assessed based on class participation.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
