1-2 hours per week. Possible homework could include memorization of lines, character development, rehearsing their scene, Making outfit choices and prop choices. Other possibilities may be posted as well. I do recommend that students take 30 minutes a day to work on their acting during this program. Students are expected to keep up with the homework each week. If a student misses a class they are expected to watch the recorded video and if they have any questions then to reach out to me. It is imperative that the student stays up-to-date with their work for successful completion of the program.Assessment

Through improvisation games, character development slides, and scene performances, you'll quickly learn to make strong choices and develop believable characters. Not only will you have loads of fun, but you'll also work on developing your acting skills by assigning different tactics to your characters to overcome obstacles. And the best part? You'll get to perform in front of a mock audition panel with a camera, clapperboard, and tons of fun! But that's not all! You'll also get immediate constructive feedback and direction, ensuring that you're constantly improving your skills. And don't worry if you don't have any acting experience, this class is for everyone! So what are you waiting for? Join us for an unforgettable journey where you'll work with a talented coach, pick scenes from your favorite movies and TV shows, and create amazing performances that will be taped on Outschool to be used as part of your future reel! Enrol now and let's start acting up a storm! Weeks 1: Welcome! We will warm up with improvisation games. During the first class we will also talk about the TV shows and movies that the students would like to work on and then take a vote on which ones we will work on. Weeks 2-4: Each class will start off with a brief warm-up game. After choosing the scenes to work on and will then immerse ourselves in the development of the characters, starting with a table read(so you get the feel for the characters, relationships and what’s really going on), we will work with character development slides to help make this experience fun and easy. Of course we will also be performing in the first four weeks and throughout. Weeks 5-8: we perform various pieces and work on putting alternate choices in to see how that changes the character, the look, the relationships, etc. Weekks 9-12: pick Scenes to finalize which will be tweaked with emotions and entrances, exits and costuming....... then we will perform and perform some more. This 4 week period is where it all magically comes together. We will perform with cameras rolling, clapperboard and students will have their final pieces taped on Outschool, which can be used as part of their future reel!!!! Your final performance is week 12. NOTE: Certificates will be given out to students who successfully finish the program.
Learning Goals
Students will be given constructive feedback during their performance and advice on what to work on if they choose to continue the next week. The Learning goals are posted in the description.

Please bring to class a notebook, pencil and eraser and a water to keep you hydrated.
It is highly recommended that you have a printer for this program to print out the short scenes and or monologues. However it is not necessary, as it is good practice to have the students write out their line so it helps them memorize.

I have been in the acting industry since a very young child, acting in theatre and film.
From there, I went on to study theatre and film acting.
I have taught over 2000 actors and have helped them to successfully prepare for their careers in acting. On average, 70-80% of my students have gone on to book work in film, tv and commercials.
My classes are interactive as I feel hands on learning in acting IS the only way. Students will learn through my various programs how to analyze and score scripts, build characters, relationship development, improv, auditioning techniques and method acting techniques.
