Class experience
* This class is designed for learners to unleash their creativity! In this lesson, students will learn how to write acrostic poems about a friend or family member. We will focus on the structure of the poem as well as how to add adjectives to dress up their writing. As they develop this skill, they can transfer it over when writing other descriptive texts, such as explanatory, narrative and fiction stories. Strategies for spelling tricky words will also be reinforced. The class will begin...
Students will improve their ability to add adjectives to their writing as well as practice writing poetry. Students will also be learning strategies to spell words.
I have been a certified teacher for over 10 years.
Students should come to the class with colored pencils, markers or pens as well as scissors, construction paper and glue. They should be prepared for fun!
