Description
Class Experience
Have you ever wondered what goes into creating those sparkly crystals? Do you ever wonder how the snow flakes get into a snow globe? Are you wondering what unique gift to give your mom for the holidays? Well, wonder no more. In this class you will uncover the solutions to all those questions and more. You will also act like a true scientist and record observations in your lab book.
I am a scientist, former 5th grade science teacher, and believer of making science fun.
No homework

NA
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parent supervision is requested for these sessions if for no other reason than this is science and as I often say for projects like these, “Science is messy.” For Day 2, we’ll use borax and boiling water. The boiling takes place prior to class. If you are not a fan of borax, you can substitute another salt (ie Epsom salts). Note: We will need at least two learners enrolled for this class to take place.
