We will read some Holiday Stories and Sing some songs.

In this one time class students will listen to some Holiday stories! Students should bring colored pencils/crayons and paper to class. We might get to draw a character from the story. :) Students will discuss what happened in the story and they will use what we discuss in class to make their own pictures. To finish the class, students will share their pictures with the rest of the class. They may be shown and invited to sing along with some Holiday music with leftover time. Holiday Books we might read- Christmas ABC by Jannie Hoe Santa Claus Funny Faces By Priddy Books Frosty the Snowman by Steve Nelson and Jack Rolling **This is not a drawing tutorial class, but rather a FUN holiday storytime that involves art. PART ONE: The teacher will read a holiday themed story. PART TWO: The students will discuss the story and draw a picture related to the story. PART THREE: Students will present their pictures to the class. There will be free talk, a holiday story and time to sing songs. :)
