Hello! Thank you for your interest in "Holiday Pajama Party Read-Aloud." This is a 25-minute interactive and friendly event for students ages 6-10. We will be reading "How to Catch a Dragon" by Adam Wallace. I encourage students to have fun but be respectful during our time on Zoom. We will discuss "Our Class Rules" on Zoom briefly before beginning our lesson. A small class size offered here will allow your child ample opportunity to participate by speaking and asking questions. I encourage your child to participate by making predictions, inferences and self-connections while we read. Don't be surprised if your child starts making traps to catch the dragon this holiday. I'm looking forward to sharing this fun story with your child soon.
Learning Goals
Students will...

2. listen to "How to Catch a Dragon";
3. make predictions and self-connections throughout the book;
4. choose their favourite part of the book;
5. play Kahoot; and
6. say goodbye
