2-4 hours per week. Please note: Students will need to practice a minimum of 2 hours every week to stay on top of class material. Weekly practice is essential to build upon previously learned material.Assessment
I will offer feedback after students perform an exercise and, if needed, provide suggestions to help the student master the concept. Mistakes are a part of learning a musical instrument! So students should not worry if they play the exercise or a piece correct on the first try. Together we will learn how to progress through new music and learn new musical concepts.Class Experience
Feel free to message me with lesson time requests. In private lessons, students will have a chance to learn more in-depth and have the curriculum tailored to the student's interest. I strive to create lessons that are fun and engaging while also challenging the student to grow as a musician. I offer private lessons in piano, guitar, songwriting, voice and ukulele. I offer follow up notes for the student so they know what goals to work on each week and how to make the most of their practice time. I provide steps for what and how to practice so no more wondering what to do each week. Private lessons are a great choice for students who want to move at a faster pace than group classes. Our goal is to develop and prepare 2 holiday songs. The students and the teacher will select pieces to work on together.
