Description
Class Experience
Students will learn new words, phrases and the most standard education needed to use the Spanish language in everyday conversations.
Teacher is from Puerto Rico and speaks fluent Spanish.
Students will be encouraged to use the beginners 33 page Spanish practice workbook provided for download upon enrollment to practice each week at home for a minimum of 1 hour when not in class. Students will also be given homework beginning on the third week of class until the last week of class using specific pages detailed in workbook with instructions on what to do and what to expect. Students are reminded to follow only the curriculum learned within the week they are in so not to become confused or discouraged.
2 files available upon enrollmentParents or students should download their "Spanish Practice Workbook" for use at home and to complete homework assignments from. Students will not need any workbook during class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learners will be quizzed each week towards the end of each class using a website program called "Kahoot". Students will not be graded but the experience will help them see where they can strengthen what they learned and use their study book to continue practicing.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will be referring to a Spanish Practice Workbook in class with teacher using book slides. Students do not need any other materials while in class, just their undivided attention. We will also be utilizing a website for weekly quizzes within classroom time and the link is attached to the course for reference.
