Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their listening, speaking and writing skills by focusing on the topic of hockey.
I am an Ontario Certified Teacher and am in my 14th year of teaching. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Education and am a qualified reading teacher. I am also a hockey fan!
A one-page handout will be uploaded 24 hours before each class if families wish to print it out ahead of time. This will help the students to organize their writing in the writing section of the class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be a given an informal written report at the end of the fifth class which focuses on strengths, areas for improvement and next steps.
3 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
