In this class students will learn about hobbies such as drawing, painting, reading and dancing. Students will practice pronunciation, sentence structure and correct grammar. Students will practice learning the new words through question and answer time and conversations with the teacher and other students. Students will be able to have conversations about their favorite hobbies and activities. This is a great beginner English as a Second Language class for young learners. I am so excited to meet your son or daughter in the classroom and talk about their hobbies and games they enjoy!
Learning Goals
Students will learn to pronounce new words correctly and answer questions in complete sentences. Students will be able to say:
"My favorite hobby is _________"
"I am a _______ (i.e. dancer, singer, painter)"
"She is _______ with her friends" (playing ball, dancing)
"I want to try _____"
