Class Experience
Students will be introduced to the Korean writing system - Hangul. Students will learn how to write Korean Hangul characters. Students will start their journey of learning Korean in a fun and exciting way!
Teacher Lynn studied abroad in Daegu, South Korea before becoming a teacher there. She was a teacher for Korean elementary and middle classes in Daegu, South Korea for over 2 years. She lived in South Korea for 5 years (Daegu and Seoul). Teacher Lynn not only intensely studied the Korean language, but fell in love with Korean culture and discovered the passion for sharing such a beautiful language with students. She is a Korean and Japanese online teacher and private tutor.
(Optional) Homework Korean Hangul worksheets will be provided by Teacher Lynn on the Outschool platform classroom forum.
++ Students will be writing using Annotate on Zoom - Students will need a big screen (no phones) and the ability to use Annotate on Zoom. ++ Students may also use paper and pencil if they prefer. Paper/Notebook Pencil/Pen
Students will be asked to write the main Hangul characters in class.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parental guidance is not needed for this course.
No sources beyond the standard Outschool tools are needed.
