Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will be introduced to Japanese writing systems (hiragana, katakana and kanji).
Students will learn how to write their names in Japanese.
Students will be able to write their name in Japanese katakana by themselves at the end of the class. 
While completing her Master’s degree in Japan, being a teaching assistant for Japanese courses, and living in Japan for over 4.5 years, Teacher Lynn not only intensely studied the Japanese language, but fell in love with Japanese culture and discovered the passion of sharing such a beautiful language with students. She has been a private Japanese tutor for almost 2 years.
Homework is not given in this 1-time class.

Students will be asked to write their names in Japanese katakana by themselves at the end of the class. 
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is not needed for this course. All content is appropriate for all students of every background. 
No sources beyond the standard Outschool tools are needed.
