‘Learn Japanese with Studio Ghibli Anime Films!’ live 3-day multi-day course with Teacher Lynn (リン 先生). ** This class is for Ages 8 - 13 (flexible). Please see our other similar Japanese classes offered for older students. The Japanese language has become extremely popular due to anime, J-pop and J-dramas! Studio Ghibli anime films lovers too! This easy-going course is aimed at students who are interested in starting their Japanese language journey. Discover Japan through its language! In this class, students will be introduced to food, places, family and common vocabulary in Japanese with the use of Studio Ghibli anime films! ~ TOPICS: Week 1: Intro to Japanese and Food Vocabulary Week 2: Family Vocabulary Week 3: Places Vocabulary Links to a Game and Review will be provided after the classes. In this class, all Japanese is accompanied with Rōmaji (Roman alphabet) or pictures for easy reading and following along. No prior Japanese language learning is required. Please bring a notebook/paper and pencil/pen to class. Let’s have fun learning Japanese!

Students will be familiarized with common Japanese words.
Students will be introduced to family, places, and food vocabulary in Japanese.
