Students will realize that they already know some Japanese words (they just didn’t know it!) Students will study 1 of the main writing systems of Japanese - Katakana. Students will learn the names of animals, clothing, countries, and fruit in Japanese Katakana (vocabulary practice). Students will start their journey of leaning Japanese in a fun and exciting way!
Teacher Lynn (リン 先生) completed her Master’s degree in Oita, Japan. She was a teaching assistant for Japanese middle school, high school, and university in-person classes in Japan. She has been living in Japan for 6 years (since 2017). Teacher Lynn not only intensely studied the Japanese language, but fell in love with Japanese culture and discovered the passion for sharing such a beautiful language with students. She has been a private Japanese online tutor for over 3 years.
Homework Offered
Homework worksheets will be provided on the Outschool platform classroom forum for students to practice writing and reading individually. ** Homework completion is not required, but recommended for the Japanese learning experience. All completed homework is reviewed by Teacher Lynn リン 先生.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
