Description
Class Experience
Nazi archaeologists search the planet for mystical objects that will give them unlimited power. Sounds like an Indiana Jones movie, right? What if the stories behind the films were true? In "History's Mysteries One-Shot: The Third Reich and the Occult," we will briefly investigate facts and fictions related to the Third Reich's attempts to research and find supernatural relics that would help its rise to world domination. We will survey the myths and sources that inspired infamous...
Students will learn pertinent facts specific to the influence of the occult on the Third Reich. Students will also ascertain the realities vs. "the Hollywood" behind Nazi involvement in the occult.
After the session, students are encouraged to further explore other interesting histories related to the topic!
Any related note-taking supplies should the learners wish to take notes.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This session is perfect for anyone interested in strange or unusual aspects of history, or just history in general. Given the intensity of the topic (Nazi Germany/the Third Reich) and related details, however, the session is most suited for older students. However, mature students of younger age are welcome with parent/guardian approval.
