I have a degree in History and I have studied the topic of the Holocaust extensively. I have taken courses that are focused on the Holocaust which has provided me with a thorough understanding of the events, people, and impacts that occurred as a result of the Holocaust. I am willing to answer any questions prior to class about what students can expect if they are concerned about the sensitivity of the topic.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The Holocaust is a very sensitive topic. In this particular class we will be discussing the different types of ghettos and camps that were used by the Germans. Discussions will contain information about particular experiences of victims of the Holocaust. This will include details regarding the wrongful treatment and deaths of Holocaust victims. There will be no images displayed that are disturbing and conversation on particularly sensitive issues will remain general and not provide descriptive details. This class is intended to educate students about the different types of camps and ghettos that existed.
