In this ongoing course, students will explore weapons that changed the course of history ranging from ancient times up until the modern day. This class is not meant to glorify weapons but rather to teach about how weapons technology has changed the course of history and to look at how our future is changing as well. Schedule: Mar 2 -8: Stupid Insane Weapons Part 2 Mar 9 - 15: Sniper Weapons Mar 16 -22: No classes for Spring Break Mar 23- 29: The Civil War Iron Clads Current Unit: Naval Units Mar 30 - April 5: Cursed Boats and Subs Apr 6 -12: Cursed Boats and Subs Part 2 Apr 13 -19: The US Navy Past Lessons Space Force and the weapons of Orbit Allied Weapons of WW2 (small arms) with commonwealth countries included Allied Weapons part 2 Chemical Weapons through history Smallest Guns in History History of the Shotgun Biggest Guns Ever Student choice is highly encouraged in this class and future lessons are student selected so jump in and join us! Parental Guidance
I've been teaching social studies for 15 years and carefully cover all topics from a historical perspective. The goal of this class isn't to glorify weapons or violence, but rather to look at how they shape history and who we are.
Supply List
(Optional) Bring a notebook for this class so we can keep a journal of all the information we will cover in class.
