Class Experience

This class meets one time, and will be offered more than once a week depending on popularity. Using a combination of Canva, lecture and various videos, students will learn about various United States National Parks as well as the establishment of The National Park System. National Parks included in this lesson include but are not limited to: Grand Canyon National Park, Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and Redwood National Park. No prior knowledge is required, nor any required experience...

At the end of this class students should be able to do the following: identify a national park, know the the importance of National Parks, the history of the National Park Service, as well as resources they provide

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
