This course is designed for those students who have a passion and love for all things Disney, and for those who are new to the Disney canon of films.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, Teacher Erik here! I have multiple years of education experience, teaching English, literature, social studies, music and movement, drama/acting, pop culture, and health/fitness. I live in beautiful, sunny Los Angeles, CA and I love all things Disney, movies, music, and pop culture.
I believe that learning should be fun and engaging. My teaching style is very interactive; therefore, I don't usually teach in a lecture-style setting. Rather, students will learn in engaging discussions, and I like to cater to individual learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc). I incorporate slideshows, videos, music, and other interactive media in my classes, as well. My teaching philosophy heavily relies on creating a class environment and experience that is relevant and memorable for the student.
In addition to being a teacher, I am a working professional actor. I have an extensive resume of professional theatre, film, television, commercial, and voiceover credits. I currently perform throughout Southern California in multiple venues. I have performed at theme parks across the country (Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Studios Orlando, Disneyland Resort), in professional theatre productions in Orlando, Dallas, and Los Angeles, and I am a part of the highly-acclaimed acapella group WestBeat in Los Angeles. I have also worked as a director, stage manager, and education coordinator for youth theatre organizations, with emphasis on stage productions and theatre education.
I look forward to meeting your student in the classroom!
