Class Experience

5 months into World War I the soldiers on both side were homesick and missing the celebrations with their families. Everyone was hidden in trenches, friends died in the battle, men yearned to go home. The German troops began to sing silent night and soon the British troops joined in.

This one time class is about one special day when the fighting stopped and people stopped trying to kill each other but instead set down their arms and spent a day in celebration.

Join me for this special History Mystery class. You do not need to have attended any of my other classes as this special class stands alone.

I will only be offering this class in December.

Learning Goals

Students will learn about a rare event in World War I and that people on both sides were more similar than different.
