This one time special Halloween class is on the history of some of the reportedly most haunted places in the world. This class is meant for students who love scary and thrilling stories or as my history students know them "Red level classes." The idea that some places are unsafe to go is certainly not a new one. You can find stories of haunted houses and objects going back thousands of years. Could there really be ghosts that roam the halls of these homes? Is there something wicked lurking in the basement? Is there something in the attic that is making those noises? I will share some thrilling stories of famous haunted houses. In this one time class we will explore some of these stories and students will have multiple chances to share what they think. Come in costume (or not) and if you have a haunted house story of your own to share there will be a short time at the end to share your own haunted tale with the class. This is a limited time class that will only be offered select times during the week of Halloween 2021.
