US Grade Kindergarten - 2
London's burning, London's burning! What happened during the great fire of London? Join me to discover all about the infamous fire that devastated London in the 17th century. In this flexible class, learners will discover how people lived in the 17th century in London. How the fire started and how London changed because of it. This in a fun interactive history class for young learners! What is included in this course? Each week learners will: 🔥have 2 or 3 pre recorded lessons. 🔥interactive games to play to reinforce learning 🔥complete lesson tasks and activities 🔥mini projects to complete 🔥class quiz 🔥ask and answer questions What will be taught? Week 1 - Compare London past and present and discover what life was like in 17th century, Week 2 - Learn about the events of The Great Fire of London creating a timeline of what happened. ** Week 3 - Discover how we know about the Great Fire. Week 4 - Understand what happened after the Fire and how London changed. **⚠️We will discuss how the fire started and how it destroyed much of London - Although the resources (cartoon pictures like in the class cover photo) will be used it is aimed and adapted to young learners. However, some learners may find the topic of fire upsetting and therefore please ensure this is a suitable class for your learner! This is a flexible course which means there and NO live meetings. Learners are able to access lessons at a time that is convenient for them each week. Students are can interact with the teacher every week via the Outschool classroom. Each week , students can respond to lesson posts and interact will peers. Lessons will be posted in class by Monday on each week in the form of a Nearpod link. I hope you enjoy this class :)

Each week a Nearpod link will be posted which will contain videos and interactive activities. Learners don’t need to create an account.
