In this 1-day class, we will explore Scotland’s famous king, Robert the Bruce, through a brief story of his life and a reading of the riveting tale of “Robert the Bruce and the Spider.” 
Exploring Scotland’s rich history one class at a time, we will read and discuss a short retelling of Robert the Bruce of Scotland and his adventures to become king. We will also read a famous story of how a spider inspired Robert to continue fighting for his country,...

Students will engage in critical thinking, reading comprehension, groups discussion, and historical analysis in this lesson.

No homework required.

  1 file available upon enrollment
One page handout will be provided upon enrollment.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
