Each week learners will compete against each other answering questions about the American Civil War, and whoever answers the most questions correctly wins! No prior knowledge of the American Civil War is required. To make things fair learners will receive a document that contains all the answers prior to class. They should study it before coming to class, and it is requested that they not use it during class, but try to answer the questions on their own from memory. At the end of each class...
Learners will be able to answer questions about the American Civil War
Each week learners will receive a document for the next week's class that they should review before coming to class. They are also encouraged to bring a fact about the civil war to each class.
1 file available upon enrollmentA three page document will be provided before each class with from which all questions will be taken. Students should review this document before coming to class, but are asked to leave it alone during class.
This class will be presented in a game show format. Students will answer questions based on their knowledge and reading.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
This class covers the American Civil War, one of the bloodiest wars in American History. While most of the gory parts will be toned done, this is still war.
